Seixal receives a pioneer project to inject green hydrogen into the gas network (with video)

The first green hydrogen injection project in the natural gas network in national territory – Green Pipeline Project – was presented on October 15, in Seixal.
This innovative project that promotes a shift towards green and sustainable energy is being developed by a network of public and private institutions, including Gestene, a hydrogen producer based in Seixal.The pilot project involves 80 residential, industrial and tertiary consumers, including the Seixal City Council Operational Services building. It is expected to move forward in January with the introduction of the first hydrogen molecule into the natural gas network.
